Megaworld expands Palawan township with wellness-focused residential project in San Vicente
Property developer Megaworld is expanding its township development in northern Palawan with a new residential project inside its 462-hectare Paragua Coastown in San Vicente, highlighting wellness-driven design and sustainability features.
The 14-story Santé Residences Palawan is the company’s third residential project in the township and is being positioned as the first WELL-registered residential development in the Philippines, a global standard that measures buildings based on health and wellness features such as air, water, lighting, materials, and community design.
“We are excited to pioneer this new residential concept in the country through Santé Residences Palawan at Paragua Coastown,” Megaworld Palawan sales and marketing head Javier Romeo Abustan said.
“We designed this development to be a sanctuary that goes beyond aesthetics by integrating elements of nature and the science of living well in every space,” he added.
Megaworld said the project is designed to maximize Palawan’s natural landscape, with angled balcony units intended to provide residents views of both the sea and mountains surrounding the township.
The development will feature wellness-oriented amenities, including fitness facilities, a halotherapy center, meditation areas, hydrotherapy pools, a botanical garden, co-working spaces, a daycare center, and leisure facilities such as swimming pools and function rooms.
Units will range from studio to three-bedroom layouts, including bi-level options, all with balconies overlooking Pagdanan Bay and the surrounding forest and township areas.
The company also said the project will incorporate smart home systems, energy-efficient fixtures, rainwater harvesting, and waste management systems as part of its sustainability features.
Megaworld expects the project to generate around P6.5 billion in sales and targets completion by 2031. The development follows earlier residential projects within Paragua Coastown, including Paragua Beach Village and Oceanfront Premier Residences.
